Starting at 6pm in late November. Made for a magical twilight wedding, at a stunning venue with a fantastic couple!
Tayla & Sam decided to go for a Twilight wedding, set outside in the marquee at Newlands Hall in Chelmsford.
Beginning at sunset, getting ready shots were a lot of fun. The bridesmaids started off with some drinks whilst blasting out music and getting ready with lots of laughs. Whilst i was informed that no one else knew apart from close family about the pregnancy and that the news would be shared during the speeches as a big surprise! The groomsmen were waiting in the bar having arrived already suited and shared drinks with close family whilst I took some ring shots.
The ceremony was relaxed and heartfelt, set out in the stunning marquee at night. This was soon followed by one of my favourite parts of the day, the confetti celebration! Everyone then hurried back inside to get warm.
Tayla and Sam’s Reception was fantastic, a buzzing atmosphere, great food, and funny speeches really did make the evening fly by. The first dance however was probably my favourite part of this day, it really was beautiful, with live music. Guests soon joined in within a few songs everyone filled the dance floor and I captured some of my favourite dance photos to date.
With the evening getting late, the couple wanted a short break from all the action and we ventured around the venue for some portraits of the couple. My usual style of using movement in photos to make them look natural wasn’t an option due to the lack of light, but Tayla and Sam were keen to get some magical portraits done. The were fantastic models, and we had a good laugh setting up lights and capturing portraits around the venues grounds, with the help of fairy lights giving off some pretty ambience.
There was so much to capture at this twilight wedding, and it was a privilege to be a part of. Here is what they said ” Absolutely amazing! Ryan was very professional on the day and captured our evening wedding and all the beautiful memories! Very lovey guy and directed us in what to do for the pictures! Will definitely be recommending in the future! 5stars!”
