Tom and Steph had their unique and beautiful wedding at The Oak Grove in Upchurch, Kent 09/07/22. With what turned out to be one of the most fun parties I’ve been to! The couple, like most, was not keen on posing or having their photos and just wanted their Viking-inspired wedding to be documented as it happened. The outdoor ceremony with beautiful scenery and weather led to some stunning captures and fun confetti shots.
After the ceremony, the guests (and me) were treated to some lovely bratwurst and other amazing snacks. Furthermore, the guests and family all had a huge catch-up with laughter and games until the main meal was ready in the stunning marquees.
Later in the day, some fantastic, heart-warming speeches were read out, followed by plenty of drinking and games. Whilst the guests were occupied, I borrowed the newlywed couple for some photos along the river just next to the venue. Although they had relaxed into the day and were enjoying every moment, I still wanted to avoid posing as much as possible. So, I focused on getting the couple to just walk and interact with each other and I took care of the rest! After these shots, we stopped for 5 minutes just to take a few romantic pictures at the end of the walkway and headed back to the venue.
The fantastic food and people made the day fly by, the evening party was amazing, playing games, drinking and laughing, which enabled me to capture some of my favourite candid shots to date.
